Written by nine year old, Ryan Valecek, a story about a young boy who always wanted his own puppy. The fun began when he found a magic dog collar.
Ryan is nine years old and a third grade student at Haines Elementary School in New Lenox, Illinois. He enjoys acting in local theatre and has been cast in many musicals and performances. His most recent role is “Chip” in “Beauty and the Beast The Musical” with Orland Park Theatre Troupe. Ryan also enjoys improv, hip hop and tap dancing, art, and playing video games.
In 2nd grade, Ryan created the story of a child wanting to build a snow puppy. He used his own dog, Tasha, as inspiration. Once his father read this story, he worked with Ryan to bring the story to life in a children’s book!
